Late last week, I was able to stop by HaasTec 2015 for a visit. My first visit was HaasTec 2015 and I was blown away. Haas does a phenomenal job of connecting with customers. Engineering has always been one of my continued areas of focus over the years and I have always been more than impressed with Haas CNC Machines. As I work through my designs and setup a shop over the next couple of years, a Haas CNC Mill and Haas CNC Lathe will for sure have a nice home. Haas is constantly pushing innovation to enable customers to produce forward thinking solutions.
These open house events also provide a nice forum to meet with some of the best exhibitors from major tooling, workholding and CAD/CAM manufacturers. I was most impressed with Raptor Workholding Products (http://raptorworkholding.com) and Autodesk Fusion 360 (http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360). Over the next week, I will have a detailed blog entry in reference to Raptor Workholding Products and Autodesk Fusion 360. Both companies have phenomenal products and they will for sure be part of my solution for 5-Axis CNC Milling.
